Captain Jack 10-11-57 Beav and Wally send away for a pet alligator. They ask Captain Jack, a tour guide at the alligator farm, what they can feed him to make him happy. They name the alligator after Captain Jack. This is an incredible episode. Edgar Buchanan does an incredible job playing the role of Captain Jack. Minerva is the housekeeper. This was the very first episode that was produced but did not air until the 2nd week. When the boys sent away for an alligator, they hid it in the toilet. The network would not allow a toilet to be shown. Negotiations with the network would follow that would allow the episode to air in that 2nd week.
The Black Eye 10-18-57 There is something different at the Cleaver's supper table and it just might be the Beaver.

Wally and Beaver can win a movie projector if they sell some mail order perfume. But they find out it has an awful odor. Father Ward has an idea. This is a wonderful story on recognizing someone else's feelings before your own.
